Hiatus Over!

After a period of unactivity with this blog due to an emphasis on my groups' semester project blog, However, my research on child trauma is back in full swing and I tend to post more images, videos, and interviews to help educate both you and I more about this interesting intellectual adventure.

Reviewing the "Child called It" Series

Possibly the most famous chronicles of Child Abuse, Dave Pelzers autobiographical memoirs tell the story of the inhumane treatment he received from his mother during his childhood, as well as journey through foster care. I read the books in Jr. High and now that I'm working on a similar topic, I thought it would be good to look at them again.

My group is in the process of finalizing our second quarter project, which would involve creating a sort of Freshmen Mentoring program. An official update will be released on the group site tommorrow, as we begin work on a freshmen class survey that will determine the direction we take this project
